STEPN is a Web3 lifestyle app with inbuilt Game-Fi and Social-Fi elements

1. What‘s the StepN

StepN is a blockchain game that makes money by running after buying NFT sneakers. It can be played with a mobile App.

In StepN,after buying sneakers in the trading market,users can move to earn tokens by walking/jogging/fast running every day (in-game tokens GST and management tokens GMT). Different from the traditional sports APP, in addition to token incentives, the APP also adds a treasure box that can be dropped randomly during walking. The game element that can adjust the sneaker attribute value by upgrading allows the user to get the triple experience of playing, earning and sports.

2.1 Download App

2.1.1 Download on the official website

2.1.2 Download in App Store

2.2 Registered Account and login in

Open the app, fill in the common email, and log in after obtaining the email verification code
This is the first page after login. At present, there are no sneakers.

If you want to play, you need to buy sneakers.

2.3 Get the first NFT sneakers

2.3.1 Create a wallet on StepN

Find the entrance of wallet by the following picture
Set wallet password to ensure account security

The mnemonic words appear. Pay special attention！The mnemonic words cannot be lost. Please use a pen to write them on the notebook and go to the next step: fill in the mnemonic words in order, and obtain the game verification code to log in.

2.3.2 Check the market in the app to know the price

Choosing suitable sneakers is particularly important for novices. Follow the steps below to understand and operate.

Get into the market,click the “Filter”
Choose your sneakers according to your needs.
For new users，I recommend walker or jogger, which has a better user experience.Just choose one with the floor price.

There are 4 types of sneakers:

Walker: You have to run at 1-6 km/h. Consume 1 energy to gain 4 GST;
Jogger: You must run at a speed of 4-10 km/h. Consume 1 energy to gain 5 GST;
Runner: Must run at a speed of 8-20 km/h. Consumes 1 energy to gain 6 GST;
Trainer: Must run at 1-20 km/h. Consumes 1 energy to gain 4-6 GST.

Click any sneaker,you will see its properties. Then just choose one you like,remember the price,to buy SOL.

2.3.3 How to buy SOL

SOL can be used in this APP to buy sneakers.If u want to earn,the first step is buy SOL

2.3.3.1 Buy SOL on Centralized exchange（CEX）

Recommend Biance，which is one of the largest CEX in the world.

To buy usdt with your currency.

Search”SOL”,then click”convert”,to make sure the correct path.
Finally click “Preview Conversion”

2.3.4 Transfer SOL to StepN wallet account

To buy the sneakers needs the StepN wallet account

Open the wallet with sol. Take the Biance as an example, open the wallet to find SOL
Click SOL，then click the withdraw

Choose “send via Crypto Network”,and meanwhile open StepN wallet,to choose the Crypto Network

Copy the StepN wallet address,and paste it on.

Choose your Biance wallet Network

Pay special attention to that both Network are Solana ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Otherwise you will lose you Crypto

About the wallet, please keep more than 0.01 $SOL to pay the gas fee (a small amount of $SOL is required for each transaction on the chain)

2.3.5 Transfer SOL from StepN wallet account to Spending account

The Spending account can pay for sneakers

open your wallet
click “transfer”

Click“To spending”
Click“Confirm Transfer”

2.3.6 Use spending account goes to market to buy sneakers after receive SOL

Get into the market,Choose the one you liked,Click”buy”,then click”confirm”,you will get your sneakers.
Then you can see your sneakers there. Come on! Running to earn!

2.4 Start Move To Earn

2.4.1 Precautions for Running

Getting the first pair of running sneakers is the first step to earning.Now we need to know some precautions.

You can't run indoors, but you need to run outdoors. It should be noted that you should try to keep moving in an open area. If the program detects that the GPS/network signal is weak, or the system detects that you do not move naturally (the anti-cheating system may be triggered), the top of the screen will prompt
The running speed should match the speed of the sneaker you have purchased.

2.4.2 How‘s the move to earn works

Click “start”，start to play the game.
In single player mode, efficiency determines how much GST/GMT a player can earn on top of the basic return on sneakers. The more efficient you are, the more GST/GMT you can get per energy consumed.

Energy recovery

When using Sneakers to run, you must consume energy to get token earning, and the energy will recover over time.

（Energy has nothing to do with the Sneakers attribute, but is related to the number and rarity of Sneakers. In short, the more Sneakers, the rarer, and the more energy）
